The XA Lab seminar was successfully held on MAR 18.

During the seminar, Master’s studentЕлизавета Шевчук and Ph.D. student Zhang Kexin presented the research topics they will pursue this semester.

Name : Елизавета Шевчук

Title : Cognitive Complexity in early Design Stages : a Linkography-based study in design studio

Summary : According to the results of the preliminary linkography analysis, students who used YOLO and Space Syntax during the site analysis design phase tended to focus more distinctly on site analysis and user-centered factors than students who used traditional site analysis methods.

Name : Zhang Kexin

Title : From Iconic Structure to Vibrant Public Space : A Case Study on Seoullo 7017 Bridge Sustainability Transformation

Summary : At present, some preliminary findings have been identified from the analysis of the results.

It was a meaningful occasion for students to share their plans, exchange ideas, and receive constructive feedback. Their upcoming research is highly anticipated, and we look forward to seeing its development throughout the semester.

The seminar took place in the PT Room on the 4th floor of Building 22, and the next paper seminar is scheduled to be held on MAR 25.
