The XA Lab seminar was successfully held on APR 08.
During the seminar, Master’s student Miri Hwang and Master’s student Hyunmin Choi presented the research topics they will pursue this semester.
Name : Miri Hwang
Title : A study on how to improve the design of 'Abandoned railway land' as an in-between space - Analysis of spatial elements and user behaviour using the YOLO algorithm and EEG analysis -
Summary : The 360-degree VR test has been completed, the actual drawings are currently in progress, and Space Syntax analysis will be conducted next to further develop the spatial structure.
Name : Hyunmin Choi
Title : “A Study on the Boundary Conditions and Urban Connectivity of Rooftop Spaces in High-Density Cities.”
Summary : Based on the site survey, the programs of the buildings were identified, and the buildings facing Gwon Gwang-ro, where pedestrian flow was most intense, were examined in terms of their number of floors, height, and whether rooftop landscaping was present.
It was a meaningful occasion for students to share their plans, exchange ideas, and receive constructive feedback. Their upcoming research is highly anticipated, and we look forward to seeing its development throughout the semester.
The seminar took place in the PT Room on the 4th floor of Building 22, and the next paper seminar is scheduled to be held on APR 15.
